Create responsibly.

Clipjoiner is for joining videos you have the right to use. You must accept this policy before uploading or exporting.

Content we prohibit

Your responsibility

Only upload material you have permission to process, with consent where required. Do not evade screening, misrepresent your rights, create abusive trial accounts, or use the service to harm others. Permission to use our tool does not grant permission to publish someone else’s content.

Screening and review

Clips must pass automated visual screening before they can be previewed or exported. We use sampled video frames with Amazon Rekognition when screening is enabled. Screening is imperfect: it may miss short scenes or flag legitimate material. It does not establish someone’s age, consent, copyright ownership, or whether audio violates this policy. Uncertain results are held for restricted review. Processing pauses when screening is unavailable.

Enforcement and appeals

We may block files, restrict exports, suspend accounts, and preserve records needed to investigate reports or meet legal obligations. Reserved credits from cancelled or failed jobs are returned. Suspension does not automatically confiscate purchased credits. To appeal, email jonathan@jpierce.dev with your account email and clip or case reference. Do not email video files, passwords, or recovery codes.

Report a concern

Use the abuse-report form. Describe the concern and provide a Clipjoiner clip/export reference if available. Never upload or attach suspected illegal imagery. For suspected child exploitation, you can also report directly to NCMEC’s CyberTipline. Contact emergency services if a child is in immediate danger.

Retention

Ordinary videos expire after 24 hours. Files held for safety review or legal preservation are excluded from routine deletion and are unavailable to customers while held. Preservation and reporting decisions follow applicable law and the operator’s incident procedure.
