Your files stay yours.
Effective October 2, 2026 · Clipjoiner is operated by JPierceDev. Privacy questions and requests: jonathan@jpierce.dev.
Your videos
Clipjoiner uploads videos to its server to join them. Uploaded clips, thumbnails, and exports are available only through your signed-in account. There are no public sharing links. Your original files on your device are not modified.
Ordinary files are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours. Files preserved for safety review or legal obligations are excluded from routine deletion and customer access. Clips used in an active export are retained until processing finishes; starting an export extends its source clips’ retention period. You can remove uploads and finished exports sooner from the editor. Download an export to keep it beyond its availability window.
Your account
The service stores your name, email, a password hash, a hashed recovery code, and session records. It also stores credit activity and export metadata, such as file names and durations, after the corresponding video expires. Account and transaction records are not automatically deleted with the videos.
Payments
Checkout is handled by Stripe. Your account email and order information are sent to Stripe to process your purchase. Clipjoiner receives payment status and an order reference; it does not collect or store card numbers. Only verified successful payments add purchased credits.
Cookies and browser storage
A necessary session cookie keeps you signed in. Browser storage remembers your export settings. The current application does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the application, private video storage, and video-processing workers. Neon stores account and transaction records. Stripe processes payments. These providers process the information needed to provide the service. Clipjoiner does not sell your videos or account information.
Abuse reports and safety records
We store text reports, optional reporter contact details, screening decisions, policy acknowledgments, and restricted enforcement audit records. Specific reported files may be preserved for investigation or legal reporting. Reports are accessible to authorized operators, not other customers. Relevant information may be disclosed to authorities where required or legally permitted. Requests to delete information may be limited by preservation obligations.
Your choices
You can delete available videos in the editor. Contact jonathan@jpierce.dev to request access, correction, or deletion of account information. Some transaction and security records may need to be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. We will verify account ownership before acting on a request.
Processing and access
Video processing happens on the server hosting Clipjoiner. Private account access is enforced by the application; this is not end-to-end encrypted storage. The service’s operator and hosting provider may have administrative access needed to run the service. When content screening is enabled, sampled video frames are sent to Amazon Web Services’ Rekognition service for automated visual moderation. We store screening decisions and limited labels, not a permanent library of extracted frames. Authorized operators may review relevant material to investigate abuse; the automated system does not determine age, consent, or legality. AWS processing is subject to its service terms and data controls.
