clipjoiner.

A few practical details.

The service

Clipjoiner lets you arrange uploaded clips and export a joined MP4. Keep your original files and download finished exports promptly. Processing is subject to available capacity and the limits shown in the editor.

One-time purchases

Credit packs cost $9 for 25 credits or $19 for 75 credits, in US dollars. These are one-time purchases with no subscription or automatic renewal. Checkout is handled by Stripe. Credits are added after payment is confirmed. Purchased credits do not expire under the current policy and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash, except for refunds or rights required by law.

Payment help and refunds

If a payment is duplicated, credits are missing, or you need help with unused credits, contact jonathan@jpierce.dev with your account email and order reference. Refund requests are reviewed individually. Approved refunds return to the original payment method and remove the corresponding unused credits. Successful exports consume their quoted credits. Failed or cancelled exports return reserved credits automatically; this is a credit restoration, not a card refund. Nothing in these terms limits rights required by applicable law.

Your content

You retain ownership of your content. Upload only files you have permission to process. By starting an export, you authorize the service to store temporary working copies and process them to produce your video.

Your free export

New accounts receive one watermark-free export of up to one minute at 1080p and up to 30 fps. No payment card is required. This is an export entitlement, not cash or transferable credits. It is used only when an eligible export succeeds; a failed or cancelled trial export restores it. Longer exports, 4K, and higher frame rates use purchased credits. Deleting or allowing a successful trial export to expire does not restore the trial. Create one account per person; trials may be limited to prevent abuse.

How credits work

The editor displays a credit quote before you export. Each started minute costs one credit for output up to 1080p and 30 fps. Selecting 4K multiplies the cost by four. Frame rates over 30 fps multiply it by two. Credits are reserved when the job enters the queue and charged when the export succeeds. Failed and cancelled jobs return the reserved credits. Downloading the same available export again does not use more credits.

Keeping your files

Uploads and exports are temporary, normally available for 24 hours. Safety review and legal preservation may extend retention; held files are unavailable for preview, export, and deletion. Active source clips may stay longer to finish their export. Download a finished video to keep it. Deleting an export or allowing it to expire does not reverse the credits used to create it.

Your account

Keep your password and recovery code secure. The recovery code lets you replace a forgotten password. Password-reset emails are not currently available. Contact support if you lose your recovery code.

Content policy and enforcement

The content policy forms part of these terms. You must acknowledge it before uploading or exporting. We may screen clips, block prohibited content, suspend abusive accounts, and preserve relevant records when necessary for safety review or legal obligations. Contact support to appeal; report concerns using the abuse-report form. Reserved credits are returned if processing is cancelled or fails. Suspension does not automatically forfeit unused purchased credits.

Use of the service

Do not upload unlawful content, infringe others’ rights, abuse the free trial, or attempt to access another person’s files. We may restrict abusive use and address outstanding purchases through support. Account closure and data requests can be made by contacting support.

Limits

The service accepts up to 50 clips, 256 MB per clip, and a joined duration of up to 10 minutes. Processing limits may vary with available capacity. The tool makes straight cuts, normalizes video sizes, and optionally trims one shared frame. It does not generate new footage or automatically detect matching frames.
